I will dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
